El restaurante Saberico original es conocido en Antigua Guatemala por sus jardines y ambiente relajado, con mucha área al aire libre.  Cuando los propietarios deciden expander a la ciudad de Guatemala, les hemos propuesto re interpretar el restaurante en el ambiente urbano de Cuatro Grados Norte, con el lenguaje propio de este barrio.

Dentro de una bodega pre existente se han re utilizado materiales y se ha conservado la estética urbana del sitio, a la vez que se ha insertado un nuevo jardín al medio del espacio. Se conserva la esencia del restaurante,.. abierto, iluminado, con vegetación abundante,… utilizando el lenguaje urbano de la zona.

The original Saberico restaurant in Antigua Guatemala is well known for its gardens, relaxed ambiance and open space seating.  When the owners of the restaurant decided to expand towards Guatemala City, our proposal has been to re interpret the spirit of their existing restaurant, while speaking in the urban language of the neighborhood (Cuatro Grados Norte).

Inside an existing warehouse, materials have been re cycled and up cycled, in order to create an urban atmosphere,.. all the while inserting a new green lush garden in its midst.  The essence of the restaurant is thus conserved (open air, vegetation, natural illumination) through the urban language proper of this area.
